WCG (Women of the Church of God)

The Women of the Church of God is an organization based upon the call to perform missions at home and abroad.  The Great Commission, given to His Church, is performed by women in our body of believers as Christ’s handmaid who stands in the gap as friend, mentor, teacher, and leader…ones who serve the manifestation of His Kingdom right where we have been planted.

As a worldwide organization, we raise funds to support many ministries: Linen chest, providing household necessities for missionary families abroad; Christ’s Birthday Observance, providing resources to guide worship during the Advent season; and Spiritual Birthday Observance, creating opportunity and funds to celebrate our “new birth” in many areas of ministry.

As a local organization, we serve our community by providing love offerings in the form of grocery showers or purchasing gift cards (even gas cards) during crucial times for families in need…those affected by poverty, illness, even job loss. 

For our body of believers, we support each family in prayer and deed.  This organization provides an avenue for modeling “servant leadership” and leaving a legacy of service to those who will follow.  “Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.” (Psalm 102:18).

Monthly Business Meetings are usually scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.  We alternate between morning & evening meeting times to enable working members to participate. Annual Membership dues are $8.00.
