Centennial

This past year, Muren Church of God celebrated 100 years as a congregation!  Originally started in 1910 in the small town of Muren, the church now resides along State Road 64, 1 mile south of the Arthur Junction.  The congregation, along with visitors from our past, celebrated the weekend in full!  We began with an open house showcasing the changes in the church over the 100 years and allowing a time of fellowship for those coming in town.  Saturday night began with an hour of comedy from Christian comedian, Scott Gregory, and followed with a trip to Dick Clark's restaurant in Princeton, Indiana.

Our Sunday Homecoming Celebration featured an exciting morning worship service and dedication of our bell stand project.  We ended the weekend by dining together at the Winslow Community Center with a catered meal provided by Meyer Catering of Dubois County.  Stay tuned for pictures from our Centennial celebration.
